Hi there
We are super excited because tomorrow is our first ever Reader Party at the brand new Museum of Play and Art Melbourne!
I'm really hoping to make the Reader Party an annual event - an opportunity to meet readers, thank them and my team for their support and to have fun with all of our families.
It's part of my effort to build a committed community around what's become a very big website. It's not just a solo operation any more and it couldn't happen without a lot of people supporting my goals and my vision - including all of you!
If you're coming to celebrate with us, I can't wait to meet you! If you're not able to come, then I encourage you to check out the amazing Museum of Play and Art Melbourne and the other great things happening in Melbourne for families during the rest of July.

P.S. I love to hear when my blog has helped a family have fun together. To help me to continue to provide free, valuable and useful information, can I please ask that you spare 20 seconds to share a review on the blog's Google my Business page? Thanks in advance!

Boo! Hey there Reader! I take a lot of pictures. But I’m sure you could have guessed that by now. But want to see one of my favourite pictures? This is a picture of my kids dressed up for Halloween. I love it because of the memory behind it. Determined not to spend money on a throwaway costume but having ZERO sewing skills, I decided to make a cardboard costume instead. Overall, I’m feeling pretty positive about the rest of 2024 and what’s to come. If you’re like me and ready to have more fun and create happy memories with your kids now that the...
